Meet the Clinicians - Betsie Sweet

Hi, I’m Betsie! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of South Carolina and have lived in Charleston for the past nine years. I enjoy reading, visiting coffee shops, spending time at the beach and pool, being around animals, enjoying the area's delicious food, and spending time with friends and family. 

Therapy is a unique, intimate setting where people often share deep personal thoughts and feelings. I find people do best when they are comfortable. Therefore, I prioritize creating a space that offers support and empathy. Since the therapeutic process is unique to each person, I ensure to meet my clients where they are. I utilize several different treatment modalities and evidence-based practices, personalized to the needs of each client.
