Meet the Clinicians - Molly Mayes
Hi – I’m Lisa, a licensed clinical social worker. As a recent transplant, I’m so excited to call Mt. Pleasant home. Originally from California, I’ve spent the last 20+ years in Maryland, where my husband and I raised two wonderful sons and where I was able to channel my passion for helping others into this amazing profession. I have always been drawn to the complexities of the human mind and the beauty of the human experience even with all its challenges. It’s only through challenges that we grow.
Prior to my move, I worked in a domestic violence shelter, a college counseling center, and an outpatient setting. These experiences afforded me the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, PTSD, relationship and family conflicts, life transitions, and couples therapy.
